as well as our planned activities.

Fishing:
We furnish an aluminum fishing boat with each cabin or dock space for
your boat. Long Lake is 360 acres has a depth of 63 feet with an
abundance of structure to create an environment for fish to
thrive. We have Bass,
Crappie, Walleye, Northern and Sunfish with early Spring until mid to
end of June being the prime time for fishing but fish can be caught
year round. In addition to Long Lake there are 412 lakes
with in 25 miles to keep you busy with all types of fish including Muskie. Brad
Laabs, has been guiding groups for many years and knows the lake
in the Detroit Lakes area and can put on the fish. Additional boats or
motors may be rented.
At The Beach:
Our superb full service beach has it all: pontoon,
sailboat, canoe, paddleboats, hydro-bikes and enclosed swimming area with sunbathing
raft, slide, inflatable's plus a 500 ft. sand beach to soak up the sun with lots of beach
furniture waiting for you to lounge on.
On The Lake:
Treat your family to
a special outing on our bass tracker pontoon, or learn how to sail with our
sailboat, or learn the "J" stroke while canoeing. Ride the
fastest human powered watercraft, the hydro bike, and cruise 10 mph
across the water.
On the Courts:
We completely resurfaced our tennis court,
new Sand Volleyball, Basketball, Horseshoes, Swing sets, Sand box,
and Game Room.
In the Area:
NEW PARTNERSHIP:
We have established a partnership with the Detroit Lakes Community
Center which will allow all guests of Lakecrest Resort access to this
great amenity. This is a full service health club
including indoor pool and waterslide, basketball,
racquetball courts, walking and jogging track, free weights,
stabilized fitness equipment and cardiovascular machines. This
partnership will allow us to give you Discounted access to this great
facility.
