A beautiful frosty January morning.
You know it’s a sad day in Minnesota when you walk outside and say,”It’s warming up - it feels pretty good out here.” And when you get home you check the weather and find that it’s warmed up to -4 and the windchill is only 25 below zero and it doesn’t feel so cold! Ah, winter is here……
Long Lake froze last Friday, the 4th of December, a bit late compared to the last few years. Stay warm and enjoy these last couple of weeks before Christmas.

It’s time to mulch leaves - although many are still on the trees! This time of year they are typically all down. Crazy!

A beautiful fall sunrise this morning with some fog over the lake. The picture isn’t as brilliant as it is in real life of course.

The unofficial end to summer is here! Back to school tomorrow. The leaves are beginning to turn as well.
The Minnesota State Fair, school beginning in many areas, turning leaves, and cool, crisp evenings, all are current reminders that fall is just around the corner!
Browsing through our new website, I realized we do not have many pictures of some cabins! We will work hard this week to get those pictures included.
Enjoy your last few weeks of summer!
