 Cabins Open:
We keep several cabins open in
the winter for just a couple people or for a large group. We have
a 1 bedroom cabin open, a 3 bedroom cabin, and 2 four bedroom cabins. These are fully winterized with gas forced
air heat, all knotty pine, large kitchens and most with
fireplaces.
Indoor Pool and Fitness Center:
We have established a partnership with the
Detroit
Lakes Holmes Community Building. Stay this Winter or Spring before June
19,2009 and get discounted use of this great new facility just 2 miles from
resort. Amenities include large pool, hot tube, waterslide, indoor track, indoor tennis,
basketball, racquet ball, free weights, cardiovascular equipment
and more.
Historic
Holmes Theater: One of the most unique components of the
Detroit Lakes Community & Cultural Center is the renovated
Historic Holmes Theatre. Built in 1932, the theatre has been restored
to its original grandeur! The orchestra level seats have
been restored and padded, the cha- ndeliers polished and the beautiful
proscenium arch painted! With more than 800 seats, the Historic Holmes
Theatre will be the focal point for the performing arts in the Detroit

Snowmobile Fun: Detroit Lakes offers over 250 miles of Groomed trails
on the Winter Wonderland Trails System. You can park at the cabin
and leave the resort to the trail system. Trails run across
lakes, through wooded areas and open areas giving you a wide variety

Winter Ice Fishing:
With 412 lakes in
the Detroit Lakes area you have a great chance finding what you like. Lakecrest Resort is on Long Lake which is a 360 acre lake with depths of
60 feet. Good winter fishing includes sunfish, crappies, walleye
and northern pike. You can walk directly out from the resort and catch a

Cross Country Skiing: Detroit Lakes is a
